A well-designed online store can make all the difference in attracting and keeping customers. These are the practices that matter most.

Connect the tools customers already use

Integrations with Google Business Profile, Google Shopping, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel make your products easier to find, show you how people interact with your store and let you reach them with more relevant ads.

Offer flexible payment

Buy-now-pay-later services such as Klarna, Affirm and Zip let customers pay in installments, which can make the difference on larger purchases.

Test and tailor

A/B test your design and messaging, and adjust product offers for different regions and audiences. Reward programs and coupons for returning customers build loyalty.

Recover abandoned carts

A friendly reminder email to customers who left items in their cart is one of the simplest ways to lift conversions.

Speak the customer's language and currency

Local language and currency options make a store feel built for the buyer, especially across borders. (It's the same lesson in selling to American buyers.)

Show your reviews

Customer reviews build trust and strongly influence purchase decisions. Make them easy to find.
