Responsive design lets a website adapt to the screen it's viewed on, from a phone to a large monitor. In a mobile-first world, it's essential.

Most visitors are on their phones

According to Statista, by October 2020 more than half of all website traffic worldwide came from mobile phones, and the share has kept growing. A site that's hard to use on a phone loses a large part of its audience.

It protects the experience, and the sale

Without responsive design, visitors struggle to navigate or can't reach content at all. That frustration costs business. A site that works well on every device keeps people engaged and makes them more likely to return and convert.

It helps search

Search engines take mobile-friendliness into account when ranking sites, so a responsive site is more likely to appear in results and attract organic traffic.
