Social media has become central to how businesses make decisions. It lets companies improve the customer experience, share information quickly and affordably, and, most importantly, have a two-way conversation with their audience.

Community comes first

Engaging with your audience builds relationships and teaches you what people need and prefer. Those insights should shape plans for awareness, sales and loyalty.

Give it real ownership

Social media works best when someone experienced owns it: a person or team responsible for strategy, day-to-day presence and measuring results. It deserves a seat close to leadership, because it's often where leadership first hears what customers think.

Stay on brand

Everything you post should align with your overall brand and messaging. Consistency is what turns many small interactions into a recognizable presence.
