Smart Marketing Is Powered by Data

Data-driven marketing isn't a dashboard or a buzzword. It's the insight behind the numbers, and a cycle that keeps improving the brand.

Data-driven marketing means gaining insight from careful analysis of numbers. It's not the dashboard itself; it's what the numbers tell you. Methods such as machine learning and A/B testing are statistics and math, not science fiction.

Two misconceptions

Some people undervalue data-driven marketing as just a collection of numbers. Others overcomplicate it by tying it to buzzwords like big data and artificial intelligence. The truth is in between.

What it looks like in practice

Analyzing how ads perform on social platforms, A/B testing branding changes and using machine learning to improve a website's design are all examples. Tools such as Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and business intelligence platforms like Looker speed up the process.

A cycle that compounds

Being data-driven is a cycle. The more data a brand generates, the more it can improve, which increases engagement and generates even more data. Each turn of the cycle makes the brand stronger.
